The first set of hydrogel samples was irradiated for the <strong>School of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of the Punjab<\/strong>, supporting their research activities in advanced biomaterials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second set of samples was received from the <strong>Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Biomedical Materials (IRCBM), COMSATS University<\/strong>, where extensive research is being conducted on various hydrogel systems. These included <strong>wet hydrogels based on gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and hydroxyapatite<\/strong>, as well as <strong>dried hydrogels composed of PVA\u2013chitosan and PVA\u2013starch\u2013tannic acid formulations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Radiation processing was performed to enhance material properties while ensuring controlled modification without the use of chemical cross-linkers.
